Do you have a book you would like to get evaluated? I offer manuscript evaluations and content editing at the following rates. What is the difference? For manuscript evaluations, I will read thoroughly the manuscript at least twice, looking for voice, flow, marketability, story line interest, believable characters, items left out, and questions unanswered. For content editing, I will spend a lot more time going through the manuscript looking for all of the above with much more detail as well as some grammar and style corrections. If you want to see if you have a good story, select Manuscript Evaluation. If you want to see if the story is ready to submit to a publisher, select Content Editing.
Manuscript Evaluations:
For manuscripts: $2.00 per page (double-spaced). Special rate of $1.50 per page for the first 50 pages if you are unsure about a manuscript evaluation (includes a conference call of up to 1 hour). If you decide to proceed with an evaluation of the full manuscript, the $75.00 will be deducted from the total fee.
Content Editing:
For manuscripts: $2.50 per page (double-spaced). Special rate of $2.00 per page for the first 50 pages if you are unsure about the content editing (includes a conference call of up to 1 hour). If you decide to proceed with the full manuscript, the $100.00 will be deducted from the total fee.
